Mission statement

 

ACCARE is the Aboriginal "lens" to guide, support and provide Aboriginal knowledge and wisdom to ensure the integrity of Aboriginal philosophies and way of life is embraced by researchers to improve Aboriginal health and wellbeing.

Milestones & Highlights

ACCARE is established in 2008 and was formed to assist Aboriginal people through research. 

 

In 2008 Professor Rhonda Marriott, Pro Vice Chancellor, Faculties, Murdoch University is appointed the inaugural Chair of ACCARE.

 

The Terms of Reference established by Members of Council in November 2009 is endorsed by Council.

 

In December 2009 the Telethon Institute Board approves ACCARE's Terms of Reference.

 

Professor Rhonda Marriott is appointed to the Board of Directors of the Telethon Institute.

 

In September 2009 ACCARE hold's its first annual Retreat.
